GRANITE CITY --
"The custodian brother of Granite City School District 9 Superintendent Harry Briggs received $133,225 in settlements and injury pay after winning six of seven workmen's compensation claims against the school district.
School janitor and warehouse worker Ronald A. Briggs of Granite City, who won his tax-free claims before his brother became superintendent last year, says he works too fast and too hard and that's why he gets hurt on the job."
