A council has paid £60 to a tenant whose woolly jumpers were shrunk in a washing machine at one of its properties.
Bristol City Council made the payment after being threatened with legal action over the shrunken jumpers.

In the last 12 months it has fought 780 compensation claims, of which it has lost 640
